MENTAL DEPRESSION AND EPILEPSY HIT BRONG AHAFO REGION

The Reginal Coordinator for mental health in Brong Ahafo Region Dr Joseph Yere  has expressed his concern about the rapid growth of maternal depression in region.

 He disclosed to Akonoba FM a commercial  Radio station
 in Sunyani  that 18 districts have been selected to do proper screening on pregnant women as a preventive tool to check their level mood whether they deem it fit for easy delivery.

 He is however urging people, family, government and Non governmental Organisations to come and support them to save maternal depression in the region to stop the situation getting out of hand.

CONFIRMED MMDCEs IN BRONG AHAFO REGION TO BE SWORN IN

The Brong Ahafo Regional minister has released a statement confirming Friday May 19 2017 as the day for the confirmation of all the elected MMDCEs in the region.

The event will be taken place at the Residency. Read the press release below

Subject: *NOTICE OF SWEARING IN OF ALL CONFIRMED GOVERNMENT APPOINTEES,BRONG AHAFO REGION*

I write on behalf of *Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh*, the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister to bring to your notice that:

1. All the confirmed  MMDCEs shall be sworn in on Friday, 19th May, 2017,at exactly 1:00pm,SUNYANI, Residency.

2. Each Confirmed MMDCE is allowed to come together with his or her family and friends *(DELEGATION)* not exceeding fifteen people.

ALHASSAN OKOGYEABOUR QUITS ASH FM FOR THE SECOND TIME

An astute radio broadcaster Alhassan Okogyeabour has quit Kencity Media outfit Ash FM in Kumasi for the second time after he joined last month from Fire TV.

The Director of Studies for Link Radio School in Kumasi has joined Sika FM 89.5mhz as a News Caster and host of a social Political Program "The Politician" which will be aired on every Saturdays on the station.

Mr Okogyeabour joined Fire TV from Ash FM some years back as the General Manager for the TV station owned by Osofo Kyiri Abosom but moved to Ash FM again early this Month.

The Staff and students of Link Radio School in Berekum and also in Kumasi wish him all the Best of luck in his new challenge.
